Hello There !
Welcome to Day 2. Today we are going to talk about your Study Plan. The Study Plan for CSIR NET can be divided in to 2 Parts:
- Overall Complete Strategy
- Monthly Study Plan
- Daily Study Plan
Overall Complete Strategy:
The Syllabus for CSIR NET is huge and thus i would suggest you not to go for the entire Syllabus. Pick your topics in the following Priority manner:
- Your Core Areas in which you are strong
- Your Non Core Areas in which you are moderately strong
- Topics Which are important from CSIR NET Point of view but do not fall under the above 2 points.
Ensure that you do not plan to cover more than 8 units out of the 13 Units for CSIR NET exam
Monthly Study Plan:
Now that you have shortlisted 8 Units, you need to cover 1.5 Units Per month, This way you will be done with 7.5 Units in 5 Months and will be left with revision + 0.5 Units.
I will be writing separately about your Revision plan in the coming days so do not worry.
Daily Study Plan:
Your Daily Study Plan can be divided in 3 ways:
For Aspirants who are doing full time preparation + Coaching:

- You have a tough life buddy, You must utilize your time judiciously.

- Keep weekends for Revision and asking doubts in chat to the teachers in the Study Portal
- While travelling to work, make sure you carry some formula notes which can revised on the way.
- Keep the last 30 days to the run up to exam as full time preparation time so better take leave from your job
For Aspirants who are doing self study:
- First of all i will not recommend go for only self study, have atleast one Mentor with you , who will guide you through out your preparation days
