Multi-Channel Coaching and What It Can Bring to Your Preparation

In the past, the local Coaching Centers had all the power in a Teacher – Student relationship. You’d have to drive an hour or two just to get a chance to attend classes. And often, you would end up being turned around because the teacher was busy solving other students doubts or just a part time guest faculty who would escape as soon as the classes ended. Multi-channel Exam Preparation didn’t make sense because Teachers got paid without going the extra mile to help the student. Since he / she was a part time teacher he would escape immediately after classes

Now, At BioTecNika the whole relationship is reversed. Students have all the power and Teachers are constantly trying to one-up each other just so that a student will get all their doubts clarified. If a student’s doubts are not clarified he / she has multi channels to quench his query.

To adapt to this reality, BioTecNika has made it as easy as possible for Students to interact with teachers. They can interact with teachers not just in class / during the class / after the class but via various channels which is even accessible from home so that they have a higher chance of getting their doubts clarified. students have multi-channel preparation if they want to make a dent in the CSIR NET Results 6 months later.

What is multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy

Multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy is a prep strategy based around the idea that students are more likely to ask questions when they do more self study. For example, a student may like to study on his own after Coaching classes and wants to see the class again at his own pace and then pause, rewind and replay it again and again. Once he understand the concepts then he can ask the teachers immediately via chat comfortably sitting at home.

Our multi-channel Exam Preparation strategy includes channels like Video Recordings of every class – from all 4 branches of BioTecNika – Bangalore , Kolkata, Noida & Pune which enables students to play, replay, rewind and understand at his own pace, Efficient Power points based teaching, Doubt Solving via email, Doubt Solving via live chat but also query solving via Video Chats, every day of the week. In multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy, all these options are equally available to all the students whether they are enrolled for coaching at our Bangalore, Noida, Pune or Kolkata centers or a Online Coaching Student.

Multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy is about choice and freedom. Students can pick the channel they want to use. It is also about the cooperation of the channels, Teachers & Students , their availability and various tools through which they interact. Potential doubts ( which can always turn into potential exam questions ) should have an easy way to resolution and they shouldn’t have to wait till he next day to get their query resolved.

Why your CSIR NET / GATE Prep needs multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy ?

How to start a multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy

To get your very own multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy started, you should keep in mind that there are a few requirements and conditions you need to fulfill to make it a success.

Below you can find a few ideas on what to expect and how you should react when setting up a multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy.

1. Get Internet Friendly & Use our Online Study Material frequently

First off, multi-channel Exam Preparation Strategy is not just about making several teaching channels available. If you start by setting up a ton of different channels and try to refer many books & talking to many teachers and then just hope that they will bring extra help, you will end up doing a lot more work and not seeing a great return on your investment.

The trick is to have several different channels working together and that means you need the experienced and highly qualified Teachers of BioTecNika. You want to make it really easy for potential queries to get solved faster. The sooner they can reach the right teacher, the greater the chances of you getting another doubt clarified. Lets accept this, no single teacher can help you qualify the exam, You need a team of experienced experts who not just solve your doubts but also coordinate among themselves to help you better.

2. Multi-channel Videos

Since you enrol at one Place you get videos of one place, is that so ? NO, You enrol at one center of BioTecNika but get all the recorded videos of all branches of Biotecnika and video recordings of all teachers of BioTecNika. That means you do not get 1X after paying 1X , you get the power of 4X , agreed that all topics will be same but every teacher has his own style of teaching and you get a chance to ineract with all of them. Isn’t that amazing ?

3. Start small and start smart

You don’t have to go for absolutely all channels, all books, all videos. If you know that very few of your concepts would need a relook, you can skip easy topics and approach the chat channel and ask questions to teachers on the topics which you need a clearer concept, ask as much as you can, unless you understand completely.

Talk to your teachers and see which topics and concepts you need to emphasize. Preparing a simple SWOT survey will take 5 minutes of your time and will give you a lot of information on the concept preferences. You can start with the 3-4 most popular topics and build your way up from that. When you feel confident that your concept is well established on a topic, you can move to another.

4. Know what you’re studying

Knowing what to study to is as important as knowing from where to study. You need to know what is the importance of the topic. That is why it’s smart to create ‘Topic Priority List’ – you might run into when solving the CSIR NET Exam Paper. These topic priority list represent different group of topics you are interested in covering. By tailoring your Topic Priority List appropriately to those groups, Our Teachers can increase your chances of making a crack in the CSIR NET exam.

Keep in mind that the ‘core’ of the Exam Preparation Strategy should remain the same across different channels. You don’t want to sacrifice the familiarity effect of the topics. You should make small adjustments to the way you prepare, but the Exam Preparation Strategy itself should be advanced over time and as the exam approaches

5. Tools that will help you better understand Topics better

You will need to do two things to make that happen: keep track of your Queries and see which topics are important and asked more frequently in exam.

For the first part, you will need to have a multi-channel Teaching & Mentoring service, you have a number of channels to work with:

  • email Query Solving
  • phone Doubt Solving
  • live chat Doubt Solving
  • help desk
  • Asking Doubts in class
  • Asking your class mates

Why Take Coaching ? Why not do Self Study ?

Self Study vs. Coaching

This is one of the most important aspect when we start preparing for CSIR-UGC NET-JRF exam or any other research oriented exam.

During College Days:

  • During our graduation and Post-Graduation our priority remains different as we want to learn every aspect of the subject for thorough and comprehensive knowledge.
  • During these years we are more focused to syllabus which is taught in semester or annual basis Under Credit Based Continuous Evaluation & Grading System for theory & practical exams conducted by different universities or colleges

How is a Competitive Exam Different ?

  • But when it comes to research and fellowship exam it differs for example, The pattern for the Single Paper MCQ test with duration of three hours and question paper is divided in three parts containing General Aptitude subject-related conventional MCQs, higher value questions that may test the candidate’s knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts.
  • The questions are of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem.
  • Negative marking for wrong answers. Ultimately, student has to cover all the syllabus with in limited period of time and as well totally different approach according to the pattern of exam and intensity of competition.

The Power of Combination: Self Study + Coaching = Success in CSIR NET Exam

  • Self-study is the common essential component whether you are doing self-preparation or coaching. So this fact is clear that one has to go for self-study in both the cases. During self-Preparation, the process needs time, focus and competitive approach.
  • The selection of actual topic which seems relevant and important becomes difficult or time-consuming process. The analysis of previous examinations might take extra efforts to conclude the right direction and focus for examination. The tendency of the student remains same to cover every bit of syllabus and read study material thoroughly for best preparation.
  • It seems good but in this process we lack time for proper revision of important as well as all the content we studied. Only right kind of mentor can help and guide us but he is not available all the time with us. So hesitation here becomes one of the issue for not asking for help from mentor.
  • Time is not sufficient for taking care of every bit and aspect of exam preparation. On the other hand, Coaching saves time, provides regularity , sharpens our focus , helps in developing Self thinking, self-analysis technique and moreover and provide authentic mentor for clearing doubts. Its gives us the right kind of temperament to prepare for the exam and right techniques for solving different problems with different and time-tested techniques.

So who wins ?

At the end we can only say that coaching is not the priority of every student and coaching without self-study cannot do much to boom your career but coaching only has one priority! Crack The Exam. Coaching can help the student in cracking the exam so if you planning to join the coaching then join, it would definitely help a student to crack the exam. You should not expect comprehensive knowledge of the subject in coaching; after all you have spent number of years in the particular subject during graduation and post-graduation. You are most welcome to contact BioTecNika for career guidance or any query related to CSIR, JAM, OCET/MSc Entrance and Gate.

Final Thoughts:

  • There are 2 ways of learning: Either you make a mistake and learn from it or you learn from other people mistakes, When you are studying in a coaching you certainly learn from the mistakes during the elaborate practice provided and teachers experience comes handy.
  • It’s needless to point out that when you took help of teachers all through out your life right from your nursery to Post Graduation then why shy away when it comes to most important exam of your life [/box]

Results

A CSIR NET Aspirant is someone who is single minded in his/her quest to get results. Nothing else motivates him / her. Nothing else matters. To do the CSIR NET Exam hustle you have to think big picture and you have to be driven by creating significant results from every core well as non core topics. It doesn’t matter if it means studying 14 hours a day or closing spending time watching e-learning Videos – a CSIR NET Aspirant gets things done that drive knowledge for himself and that are crucial for Exam.

Impatience

An Aspirant knows only one timeline: NOW ! He / She wants to find the shortest way possible to generate the needed outcomes. No matter WHAT

Shamelessness / No Hesitation in asking Questions

An Aspirant is willing to look foolish in the name of asking silly questions. He / She is willing to ask for things that others are afraid to ask for. The reason for that is that He / she doesn’t care about rejection or humiliation to some extent. He / She knows that failure is part of the game and understands that you can’t succeed if you don’t go for it. Only extraordinary actions create extraordinary results.

Follow up

This is a big one: A good Aspirant knows that studying is all about asking follow up questions to teachers, Understood the topic ? ask questions, Did not understand ? ask him to repeat. If Understanding is 50% of success – the other half is about being the one person that actually follows up until you understand it perfectly after solving follow up questions..

Rejection / Failure

If he / she doesn’t get rejected / fails in solving questions , He / she’s not really CSIR NET material. If she doesn’t have a high tolerance for emotional pain she will not last out there in the cold world of the CSIR NET Prep hustle. Resilience regarding rejection is a must!

Values

A good Aspirant wants to generate value for his / her career. He / She’s not just in it for a quick buck / Success. Or for his / her ego. She knows that her strength is her fearless attitude toward getting things done and solving as many questions as possible. He / She wants to use that power for good and for something she believes in.

Resourcefulness

Preparing for CSIR NET / GATE needs you to have right mix of Books + Mentors / Guide who can channel you towards Success in these exams.

A good Aspirant will have all of these characteristics. It’s easy to fail, but to learn from your failure is what you makes you or break you.

And if you checked off all these characteristics for yourself – congratulations! You truly have what it takes to succeed in CSIR NET Exam.

There are 2 ways of Learning: Either you make a mistake and learn from it or you learn from some one else’s mistake, The second option is smarter and saves your time.

Happy Preparing!

P.S. In some of these lessons, I’m going to ask you a question, and I’m going to ask you to EMAIL ME YOUR RESPONSE.

Why am I doing this?

Because I want you get maximum value out of this course. I want it to improve your CSIR NET Prep Strategy and make a real difference to your Career. To get that result, it’s not enough to just consume the information – you need to take action.

That’s what the questions at the end of these lessons are about – to help you identify which specific action step to take. By telling me about it (rather than keeping it in your head or jotting it on a todo list), you’re one step closer to actually getting it done. Deal?

Okay, here’s today’s question: which of these seven characteristics are you going to improve next?

Pick one that you’ll focus on for the next seven days and let me know!
